Everyone knows Venice…
But only a few truly experience it.
There is a side of Venice that never makes it onto postcards — a living, breathing city shaped by everyday rituals, quiet calli (Venice’s backstreets) that never make it into guidebooks, and moments that stay with you long after you leave.
This is the Venice Elisa and Flavio have always loved, the city where they were born and raised, and the one they chose to share through Locanda Ca’ Lucrezia and Residenza Lucrezia.
Guests staying at Locanda Ca’ Lucrezia find more than a comfortable room and a good breakfast.
They find someone ready to suggest the right calle to turn onto, helping them experience Venice the way locals truly do.
At Ca’ Lucrezia, we open the doors to our favourite places, flavours and traditions — the small details that make Venice unlike anywhere else in the world.
If you want to truly discover the city, this is the perfect place to begin.
We look forward to welcoming you to Venice!

What our guests say
Two facilities
One shared idea of hospitality, helping you experience Venice not only as a destination to visit, but as a place to live in, even if just for a few days.
Locanda Ca’ Lucrezia
Just a short walk from Venice Santa Lucia train station, in the Cannaregio district, Locanda Ca’ Lucrezia welcomes you into a small historic building, recently renovated and family run.
Here, days begin slowly. A buffet breakfast served in the refreshed breakfast room, then your first coffee in the private courtyard, a quiet corner filled with an authentic Venetian feeling, sheltered by the walls of an old convent.
Residenza Lucrezia
In the same area, just a few minutes away on foot, we offer a second way to stay, Residenza Lucrezia. It is a cosy Venetian townhouse, easy to reach both from the train station and from Piazzale Roma, made even more special by a typically Venetian panoramic terrace with a long history dating back to the 1700s.

A love story
between boats and Venetian streets
Elisa and Flavio first met between boats and moorings, and after years of opposite schedules and busy days, they chose to change course. They found a place where they could be together, and at the same time welcome travellers who want to discover the most authentic side of Venice.
In 2016, they bought the building that is now home to Locanda Ca’ Lucrezia and transformed it with patience and care. They respected its historic soul, while filling it with details that speak of them and of the city, small nautical touches, family objects, and a warm, genuine atmosphere.
Every choice, from the logo to the little boat you will see hanging on the staircase, is part of their love story.
Discover the city
Through places, stories, and everyday rituals.
In Venice, the word “tour” often means rushing from one stop to the next, ticking boxes, and ending up in places chosen for you.
We choose a different approach, slower, quieter, and more authentic.
